This week I caught up in person with a very dear childhood friend and for a few days after the visit I relived some lovely memories; including a shower rendition of High Fidelity from the Fame television series and antics from our youth theatre rehearsals.  This was strange considering that we did not discuss any of those things, but it is a testament to how good friendships can evoke such strong positive emotions. As usual the years we have known each other stripped away and thanks to the wonders of modern technology it was like no time had passed. Without delay we were discussing religion, today’s world and the aspirations we still hold for the future. We may not be in total agreement about everything, but we always have creative alignment recognising its importance in both our lives. For me the next step is to trust in the creative process and let the cards fall where they may.
